RINGKASAN
Ransomware merupakan jenis perangkat yang akan merusak sistem komputer, seperti melakukan encrypt terhadap semua data penting yang dimiliki dan akan di decrypt kembali sampai melakukan pembayaran. Ini merupakan salah satu bentuk cyber criminal. Sekarang wannacry ransomware sedang viral di seluruh dunia karena menyerang banyak sistem, baik itu pemerintahan, bandara, universitas, rumah sakit dan perusahaan telekomunikasi seperti Telefonica, dan yang paling heboh sekarang di Indonesia, yakni menyerang sistem rumah sakit Dharmais.
Pada video ini dijelaskan dan dicontohkan bagaimana virus wannacry bekerja. Saat virus wannacry dieksekusi maka semua file yang ada dalam komputer kita akan di encrypt dengan algoritma yang sangat sulit dipecahkan, akan ada extension file .WNCRY, kemudian background komputer juga akan berubah dengan tulisan "Ooops your important files are encrypted" dan kemudian akan muncul ransomware window yang akan meminta user untuk melakukan pembayaran dalam wkatu yang telah ditentukan. Kemudian di setiap folder akan ada readme file yang berisi petunjuk pembayaran. Publisher juga menghimbau user yang belum terkena virus untuk back up data data penting dan update system dan antivirus pada komputer anda.

PENDAPAT

Video ini memberikan gambaran bagaimana virus wannacry bekerja dalam komputer, dikarenakan wannacry ini sangat viral pada saat ini sehingga lebih memberikan gambaran kepada penonton bagaimana ciri ciri komputer yang terinfeksi virus dan apa akibatnya seperti kehilangan data yang sangat penting dan himbauan agar tidak terkena wannacry ransomware.
